Captains Welcome
Welcome to Heaton Park Golf Club.
I would like to begin by thanking our immediate past Captain, Tom Kemp, for an outstanding year in office. Your hard work and leadership have kept the club moving in the right direction, and we truly appreciate everything you have done.
My thanks also go to all past Captains and to our committee members, past and present. Your behind‑the‑scenes dedication helps keep us among the best clubs in the North West.
It is a genuine honour to serve as Captain this year. I will give the role my full commitment, with every decision made in the best interests of our members and the future of our club.
My chosen charity for 2026 is Prostate Cancer UK, an organisation that plays a vital role in raising awareness and supporting early diagnosis. I hope you will join me in supporting this important cause.
I am also delighted to welcome Tom Blakeley as my Vice Captain. His energy and enthusiasm will be a great asset to the club.
I joined Heaton Park five years ago, have served on the committee for four, and have enjoyed meeting so many brilliant personalities along the way. I look forward to many more great moments with you all this year.
Thank you for your continued support.
