Hello to all members

Another month has passed, a lot has happened the Wales trip was well attended and everyone agreed the course and facilities were great. Congratulations to Kenny Quirk who not only won the longest drive, was also in the four man team (T D’orsi, S Touhy, A Aplin) That came third overall in the North Wales open comp, first in the Heaton Park Comp, Kenny then went on to take first in the individual prize the next day. J D’orsi and A Aplin second and third. Friday evening half the members chose to sample the night life the rest chose to play cards till the early hours. A few looking the worse for wear the next morning, Jack Daniels and beer have a lot to answer for. Thanks to Eddie and our vice captain, for making the arrangements. Photo’s are on this News letter, the club is now well into the golf season and competition winners are spread out evenly amongst the members
